A great addition to your tab or phone.

I use it with my ipad and iphone. When at home, I prefer listening music or taking calls in speaker mode (especially long Skype/phone calls with family and friends). These speakers really improve the sound quality and are worth purchasing. Bluetooth connectivity works quite well, but I frequently use aux cable to reduce battery consumption on my phone/tab. I do find some variation in sound quality when changing from Bluetooth to aux. Additional USB ports on the speaker charger for charging tab and phone simultaneously is a very nice and convenient option.

Good sound (update: not anymore), unfortunately looks cheap

Update: shortly after writing the below review I started having issues using this as a speaker phone, other conference call attendees were complaining about noise on the line as if it was a bad connection, this would resolve as soon as I disconnect the HK speakerphone and use my phone's built in speaker phone - I'm returning the item, it's complete trash, won't buy harman/kardon again, clearly cheap plastic junk masquerading as quality AV Original review: as a speaker phone it's as good as or better than most, I rarely use this for music so can't really comment the reason for the two stars is simply, for a (supposedly) high end product, the construction/finishing is terrible the buttons are not flush with the device or even each other, the buttons all have their own / unaligned height, each being at a different level than the next, same thing with the rubber under side of the speaker, the rubber doesn't align flush with the aluminum it connects to - I've attached images of all of these the combination of these cosmetic issues makes the device look cheap, certainly far from high end
