JBL Pulse Bluetooth Speaker

I purchased this speaker sight unseen - I had heard the JBL Flip before but not this one, and I bought it because it had more power than the Flip and also I liked the idea of the light show. Also it was only about $150, not the $200 list that folks mentioned in other reviews. I must say that I'm very happy with it so far - the sound quality is very good for what I purchased it for (to listen to music while I work from home) and the convenience factor is awesome, you can pick it up and place it anywhere and you can hear it just fine throughout a pretty large room. I play my SiriusXM app through my phone to this speaker all day and it sounds fine - I've seen some comparisons to the Bose Soundbar and of course that's not a fair fight by any means. I would wholeheartedly recommend this speaker to anyone who needs a small, convenient, portable speaker to connect with their music player. The battery usually lasts about 4-5 hours before it runs out of juice and I think that is reasonable given the quality of the sound that it puts out. I'm going to try and see if I can extend the battery life by running it without the lights, don't know if that will make a difference or not.
