Unbelievably Great Product
By RibDawg on Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2014
Bought this for my recent TDY where I would be unable to have access to a regular TV. However being away from my family I wanted the ability to play my Xbox 360, iPad, and Computer to keep myself entertained. The Picture quality was GREAT. I tried the 3M Projector and the Brookstone HDMI projector and this blew it out of the water. The 3M projector was the lowest quality of the three (the first one I got did not work) and I did not like the access port for the HDMI. The Brookstone was the lightest and smallest of the three but for the price difference I went with the OEM250. Pros: Bright picture Best Quality Small Size So many different inputs Cons: Fan is a little loud No battery All I will say is I was paranoid trying to find a decent projector because I would be in the middle of nowhere and tested out several projectors before leaving. I paired this with the UE Boom using the Aux Out and could not have been happier. The speakers on this unit work decently when used but I preferred the better sound from the Boom. Also the shipper used got this to me ASAP to make sure I received it in time! Also I bought the Square Trade 4 year warranty to protect my investment.

Good video quality, excelent ins options, poor audio quality and audio circuit, very noisy fans

Good video quality, excellent ins options, poor audio quality and audio circuit, very noisy fans The video quality is good! The sound is the worst i have seen on a video device (info extended on bottom) The fans are noisy, two fans on projector, one fan on ac adapter The ac adapter is much bigger than a laptop ac adapter I haven't been able to read my usb devices or my sd card The sound has some kind of problem or bad design in circuits, because it has a lot of electrical noise when you connect to headphones or lineout, especially de HDMI input, when i try to use the audio out it has the noise interference of the fans into the signal, so if you connect these to your home theater you will get noise over the audio signal, i'm a little disappointed with these. I have tested with google chromecast on HDMI, mac mini on HDMI, ipad and ipod touch with original HDMI apple adapter and the problem persists. I have tested the AV input and it is better less signal no noise, but the video quality is a little less than with HDMI. These projector has 3 fans, one on the front side, one on the back, and one on the Ac adapter (quieter). The ones on the projector makes a high pitched sound, that after a little time is stressful, unless you connect it to your home audio system an put it loud. I didn't think i have to make an isolated room o cabinet like the ones on real movie theatres, i think the DLP and LED projection creators have to work better on these, because i think most of these projectors are going to be used on bed rooms or smal home rooms, and having these jet turbo fans it is very annoying. I have connected a kingstone 16 gb / 8 gb sandisk usb with .avi. mkv. mp4 . mov and it didn't recognised it, and the same for SD card, i dont know if i am making anything wrong but these should work out of the box, like apple products, these are home user products and should work an easy as possible. My brother has a Samsung pico projector 50 lumens and these is like 4 times bigger than that, and it doesn't produce the half of the noise these one does, i think is because of the size an lumens. but it shouldn't. Another thing i didn't like is the fact that these projector is announced as a 250 lumens but the box says 210 lumens! I like the fact that it has a lot of option for correction of projection , like back projection, invert video, ceiling projection. It has a tripod mountable screw and a angle adjust leveler. well i will put more info as i get it test.
