First off I have to say I'm very pleased with the customer service department of MEElectronics. When these headphones arrived one of the pairs of ear tips didn't fit the headphones. However after a few emails exchanged and two days of shipping I had replacement ear tips at no charge, not even shipping. Whenever you purchase something from any source there is always a chance that there will be a defect so the fact that MEElectronics made things right in such a timely manner is just as good to me as the product arriving without defect. Now for the headphones themselves. MEElectronics did a good job of describing their products so what you see online is exactly what you get. These headphones use a single balanced armature drivers as opposed to dynamic drivers, the most common type of iem, or multi-balanced armature drivers. Balanced armature drivers usually offer better clarity than dynamic drivers but have less dynamic range in frequency than the dynamic driver which ultimately results in less bass than their cheaper alternative or require more than one driver to get a powerful base. As a result if you choose to buy these headphones or any other pair of headphones that use balanced armature drivers you should expect weaker bass than many cheaper iems. On the other hand most low cost headphones also have an overly powerful bass response that drowns out much of the midrange and overall poor detail. If you like Rap & Hip Hop then you probably want a louder bass than these headphones can offer. If you like Classical music, Rock and Roll, etc... These headphones will have loud enough bass and in addition the entire low end will be clear and detailed. The mid range is similarly clear detailed. The high range is softer than the midrange yet still detailed. Over all you will get dark sound signature that allows for you to listen to music with these headphones for many hours without feeling any sort of hearing fatigue. In my case I have been able to listen to music with these headphones for 12 hours strait which isn't something I can do with most other headphones. The last thing that needs to be mentioned about the sound of these headphones is with the frequency response range. To the Amazon listed specs the frequency response range is 20Hz - 20kHz while MEElectronics says it's 20Hz - 18kHz. The actual frequency response range is 20Hz - 18kHz. That isn't a bad thing though since for one the frequency spectrum above 15kHz isn't really used in music. Typically the frequency response range, especially on sub $100 headphones, is listed with frequencies higher than 20kHz for the purpose of getting uninformed buyers to purchase them. Chances are you haven't owned a single device capable of reproducing higher than 20kHz since you threw out your record player. I can even tell you what you are missing in the sub 20kHz range if you want. A painful high pitch beep/screech. As frequency gets higher the sound gets softer yet no less painful until you start getting to the highest frequencies you can hear. Then it gets less painful and quieter until you don't hear anything. For those of you who are old enough to have thrown away a record player chances are you can't hear 18kHz. If you are younger and can hear 18kHz you don't want to. Build quality on the headphones is good. The cables have plenty of insulation so you won't hear the static on your hands or shirt. It seems durable too so I expect the headphones to last. The braided cable seems kind of pointless to me since there are other kinds of more traditional cabling that do the exact same thing. The isn't any down side to the braided cabling either I just don't know why a more traditional cable wouldn't be used.

Ok for its price and sound- yet it needs a lot to improve to match with others

I am a great lover of Armature drives of ear buds, because the drives which not only gives clear and crispier sound but also comfort for long listening with complete detailing of every bid of tiny things embedded in music that you would never heard of even million times of the song been listened by dynamic drives. I had Aurvana In Ear2 plus with me for few months, i was blown away by the clarity of the sound and its detailing and with punchy bass (not too high) that could do something around your ears every time hearing a music, it will make you feel like as though hearing for the first time. Unfortunately, rat has bitten it and torn the wires into pieces and it was dead. So, i went on to find something in Armature drive earphones of cheaper budget, I chose MEE A151P in reference to its review and comments on it. For me, It is Ok ear phone for its budget, other than that it is has got nothing special- It is a bit of disappointment that MEE A151P has very flat in mid and high ranges, low ranges it sounds good and also it sounds like controlled for every notes, notably guitar sounds is unrealistic, whereas in the case of Aurvana IEM2 plus is kind of open sounding and acoustics build in it is unmatchable. Acoustics is completely missing in this earbuds. Vocals are crystal clear in mids and noisy in highs. For its price concern and look is good, the chrome plating is enhancing its royal appearance. Earbuds is not too heavy in feel on ears, it tightly fits into the ear cavity. It is appreciable that MEE has provided various kind of eartips with different size depending on our use and love for music. Case given is very hard and stable material that would never get bend or twist and made as easy for accommodating in pockets. As far as i am concerned, i feel it is Ok for its price and sound, in all honesty we should not expect all kind of acoustical things as in the high budget earphones for this, nevertheless it sounds great and feel pleased hearing to overall. MEE A151P needs a lot to improve, I could not hate it nor love it. My rating for A151P is 3.8/5.
