Ghosting is Annoying
By DigitalDave on Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2018
We recently removed a KVM switch with cheap DVI-A cable sets and almost no ghosting to a straight-from-the-video-card configuration using two of these cables for twin monitors. These cables appear well-made and as durable as any, but despite hours of changing combinations of contrast, brightness, and gamma settings along with adjusting ClearType settings for twin side-by-side monitors (Viewsonic VA2246-LED using a NVidia GEForce GTX 560 Ti video card on a Windows 7 64-bit computer) these cables (both of them) ghost noticeably. We've moved the cables to try to avoid any interference as well, but without success where the ghosting is the same on both monitors. Given the positive reviews we had hoped for a similar experience but in our case, as may be yours, they just didn't work as well as we had hoped. We write code 8-12 hours a day so the quality of text on the screen is a critically important factor.
