A life saver

You not gonna believe how this phone case has helped me since bought it. I had it installed professionally by some phone monks and after they prayed over it, they presented it to me, bowed and backed away with the most stern look on their faces. Freaky!! Anyway, couple weeks pass and I was coming home from a shoe tying convention late one night and picked up a hippy hitch hiker just to help a brother out. He offered me, what appeared to be a hand rolled cigarette and to be courteous, I took a drag. Several miles down the road we decided to stop at a convenience store for some brake fluid and a zero bar only to notice the joint was being held up. We devised a plan to help the midget cashier by setting a trap outside the door with trash cans and a news paper machine. When the prey entered into the trap upon exiting the establishment, my hippy partner let out a Cherokee war cry of attack and we gang rushed the assailant which promptly began firing a Vigilante revolves compressed gas pellet pistol in 17 caliber and I took a round to the left hip. I just knew this was the end for me and went down hard against the Dr Pepper machine. I figured it was due to shock or mere adrenaline that I wasn't able to feel the impact of the blast but as I layed there playing dead, the midget rushed to my aid and assured me help was on the way and that I was to be considered a hero! Well, that compliment arose within me a desire to live so I regained my composure and stood to my full height and surveyed the damage. As bystanders surrounded me I began to search for my wound to assess the severity of my affliction and to my surprise, I could find no wound. Upon further investigation by the paramedics it was determined that the projectile had found it's mark directly into my Galaxy S3 smartphone protected by, you guessed it, this very phone case you are trying to determine if you want to invest in. Well, take it from me, buy the case man, it just might save your life like it did for me. Now, I get a free zero bar every time I frequent that establishment so the perks are worth the investment. Trust me!!

LifeProof Case proved it was definitely not life-proof under normal circumstances

We were told that this case would be perfect for our 12 1/2 year-old daughter's cell phone. We really had very high hopes that this case would protect her phone from any accidental drops, as many other people have had good luck with this product. About 3 weeks after our daughter had her phone in this case, she was walking in our house and her arm hit a table she walked past, and the cell phone in the LifeProof case fell from her hand and hit the floor about 4-5 feet away. The case is fine, the outer glass covering of her cell phone was fine, but the inner glass which actually touches the electronics in the phone was shattered...from an almost nothing fall! This case is supposed to be "The Case to Have Above All Other Cases", but it failed from a slight fall, and the phone needs a new inner glass to make the phone functional again. We decided to get her a used iPhone 4s with a Ballistic case. The Ballistic case was the best case I have ever had!! I dropped my iPhone many times on concrete with no damage to iPhone or case! LifeProof??? LifeProof isn't worth the hype nor the money!
