No more chord butting up against the wall
By Tyler Pfaffenbach on Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2017
Is it stupid to be excited about a surge protector? Possibly. But given what this particular surge protector allows you to do is worth being a little jazzed about – especially if you're into streamlining your cable management in your entertainment center. I bought the rotatable outlet style because my shelving unit that holds all of my game systems (but mostly my girlfriend's trinkets and "cute" picture frames and items) backs up right against the wall. Well, you may think that's not a problem but when your house is just a hair over 1200 sqft, you need all the extra room you can get. The rotatable outlets allowed me to plug in all my accessories from the SIDE rather than the back which prevented the plug from the accessory adding more space between the shelf and the wall; does that make sense? Basically, no more chord hitting the wall. The ONLY, absolute ONLY, slight tweak I have for this item is I wish the USB connections were also rotatable, but that's not enough to deduct a star because I still got it to work and it's more personal preference on my part. Overall, if you don't want to read my whole review, I liked this unit because it does exactly what you think it does. It's a surge protector, nothing special. But on the other hand, a lot cheaper than those you would find at Best Buy. Love it! Thanks!

TLP608RUSBB model cannot be mounted to wall
By Rob_s on Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2019
I bought the TLP608RUSBB model with swiveling outlets to mount behind my TV to keep the "clean" look we have going with the plugs turned to the sides. I cannot wall mount this model. The slots seem to indicate that it can be wall mounted but while the slots themselves will allow for a #10 screw shaft to pass through, the area BEHIND the slot where the screw head should slide in cannot fit even so much as a #6 screw head. the upshot of which is that how it works as a surge protector is immaterial since it will never get used.
