(8 Batteries) Amazon Basics Rechargeable AA Batteries

A while ago, I completely switched from leak-prone alkaline batteries to Ni-MH rechargeable ones. I’ve tested several brands, and while Amazon Basics rechargeable batteries aren’t my top choice, they’re definitely worth considering for lower-power devices like remote controls, thermometers, and similar electronics. In my testing, these batteries actually exceeded their stated capacity, which is impressive—especially at this price point. Like most Ni-MH batteries, they have a slightly larger diameter (9.3 mm compared to 8.9 mm for standard alkaline batteries). That said, I had no issues fitting them into most of the devices I tried. The only exception was my Moen motion-activated faucet, where the fit was very tight. It remains to be seen how long they’ll last over time, but so far, I’m happy with their performance and would definitely recommend them for everyday use.
