This piece is easy to put on your dash and Price is right Low cost but great quality Holds your units really tight works great even on a rough terrain. Weather ? oh its been torture on east coast and hasn't lets loose yet . Again for the price i think it is a win win!

I loved it, until it suddenly shattered when parked in sunshine.

The thing worked well, then it suddenly just shattered into several pieces when I was parked in the sun one day. It was less than 2 hours: I parked in a lot and ate with family at a restaurant - when I came out the thing was in pieces on my dash and seats. I've had several suction mounts before and none of them have done this. I do have to say the suction is the best I have ever used, it never once fell down before the it shattered, which is much more than I can say for OEM mounts from GPS manufacturers.
