JAM XT Extreme Wireless Splash-Proof Speaker

the speaker that has worked the longest. I purchased this speaker in August 2013, and 2 years is ok for a product life, but I typically kill a speaker in 6-12 months. I have tried many different speakers, I used to go thru an Altec plug in speaker about once a year. I decided to upgrade to a bluetooth speaker and got one from another company's catalog it worked twice and quit, so I looked around and decided the rugged Jam was similar in size to my old speakers but built to take a little more of a beating. And it has. This speaker has been in the shower, been knocked off of things, and I can't imagine what happened to it when I let my boyfriend take it to his reserve drills. Held up like a champ. Just this past week I picked it up and hit the power button but did not get the familiar chime. I plugged it in and got no charging light. The battery always worked better than the spec suggested, but I think I have put every bit of 6000 hours on this little guy, and I know rechargeable batteries only have so many cycles in them. Very happy with this and if I can't get it back to life I will be buying another. *edit* Figures I would write this and the next day plug it in and it works just fine. First real hiccup was after almost 2 years of ownership that is pretty darn good. Maybe I should buy a spare anyway. Also this has pretty big sound for a speaker you can easily palm.
