Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I used this on a cross-country road trip. There was a lot of road construction along the way, and it picked up every radar that shows what your speed is. It picked up one officer that had the radar on. There were some false signals, but as others have indicated, these are likely from the accident prevention systems on newer high-end cars. I worked great.

Glad you asked. How do I return it? It doesn’t detect anything. Drove 400+ miles and it never made a sound. Comes on and goes through it’s startup sequence but never detects anything. Bought another Cobra detector halfway through my trip and it works great.
