6" x 9" 240W 2-Way Coax Speakers (Pair)

Super slim lined 6x9. Has an innovative integrated magnet. I needed these to fit into a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan's left front door. Tight clearance with the power window mechanism.It's the only 6x9 speaker I could find that would fit. The original low profile speaker from Dodge is not being made anymore. The speaker is used on the 2001-2002 GC's. A different, not as slim, speaker is used from, ( I think), mid year 2003-2007 and that is still available from Dodge. The sound quality of the Pyle is good. However, since I still have the original speaker in the right door, I used a piece of duct tape to cover the tweeter on the Pyle speaker since it was much too high frequency response verses the original right door speaker. This gives approximately (actually a tighter and better bass response) sound than the original speaker. If you want to use the tweeter to get the high frequencies, then just install the speaker as is, but I recommend to install them in pairs. Just make sure the phasing is correct in all cases.I reused the connector from the old speaker since it has a shunting clip built in to put the dash speaker in parallel. It's tricky to remove the connector from the old speaker, a small tang has to be depressed to slide off the connector. Use a small screwdriver and go through the old speaker's cone to depress the connector's tang.I recommend this speaker. It seems well made and sounds good. I like the super slim profile design. Very good for tight spots.
