Good bargain for an old phone.
By Dr. George E. Kajrys on Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2017
So far this has worked very well. Doubles my battery life and should be great for my next hiking trips, where the single battery would start to die towards the end of the day, sometimes in the middle of nowhere. The extra attachment to the phone with the extra battery feels very solid and meshes very well with the phone to provide a slightly thicker and larger case. The micro USB connector you have to be careful with. It feels very tight and I worry about pressing too hard and maybe damaging it, so you have to take a bit of care in aligning and pushing, but so far no problems. Overall I like it very much so far and it should be very useful for S3 owners who are happy with this old phone and want to keep it for a while longer. The price is certainly right.

A good Aux Battery, but very large for only double battery life.
By D. Fox on Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2014
This is a good aux battery case for the Samsung Galaxy SIII, however it is extremely larger. Other reviews said it was not much larger than their generic rubber cases. I currently use an Otterbox Commuter case which adds quite a bit to the phone, so I figured it wouldn't be much more. However it adds about double from the Otterbox to this (see photos I added to the product). It does give me about double the use which is good for my international trips, and when traveling. It will charge the phone and be charged itself simultaneously, but may not be able to keep up during heavy phone use. My Conclusion: At this price point and the additional bulk of the product I just don't see it being as useful as I had hoped. I already have an Anker 10,000mAH charger that is about the same overall size and cost less than 1/2 the price. Obviously the Anker is not a case, and you have to run a USB cable for use, but it will keep my phone charged for several days. I will probably hang on to it and use it on occasion, but if I had known the size differences originally, I probably would not have paid almost $100 for this unit.
