Pleasantly and Happily Surprised!

Purchased this refurbished Apple iPhone 5 16GB Verizon Wireless CDMA 4G LTE Cell Phone - White from Mobile Shop USA to replace the one my daughter accidentally "Baptized" in the bathroom <ahem>. This is what she received for our $149: A near perfect iPhone 5 in white. One ever so small 'scuff' on one of the corners, now hidden by her phone case. Screen and rest of the phone looks brand new. Battery is good. Lasts almost as long as her previous phone. Phone charger setup - new. She is happy - therefore, I am more so...

NOT A VERIZON WIRELESS PHONE

I specifically searched for an iphone 5 for Verizon Wireless. Verizon will not accept any phones that are "jail broke" or another carrier, they MUST be issued to Verizon. Well the title to this iphone said "verizon wirelss". I will say the phone arrived quick and looked perfect, not a scratch on it. It powered up fine. But when we headed to Verizon to have the service turned on we were told that this phone is NOT VERIZON and it basically a $380 paper weight that we cannot do anything with. I walked over to a tablet and logged in to file a dispute and get a refund, we have YET to hear from the seller on what will get done to fix this situation.
