This review is long overdue because this is one of those devices that you don't think to review right away when it's going well since it's not a product one typically gets excited over. I purchased this surge protector in 7/2019 and have been using it daily since then to plug in multiple devices, mainly my computer setup. On a daily basis, I have 1 PC, 2 laptops, 1 monitor, 1 desk light, 1 HP usb-c dock, 1 usb-a hub that has 4 small devices plugged in (this one is plugged into one of the usb ports on the surge protector), all plugged into the surge protector. All devices work at all times and has never failed me once. The surge protector also survived 2 moves and a few power outages as well. Of course, I also don't plug in anything that requires a lot of power ... ie space heaters, kitchen appliances... so cannot speak to how well it will perform. And it's large + clunky so not great portability for traveling purposes but makes the perfect, long term, stationary use for something like a home office setup.

A dud? Montitor makes a weird clicking nose when turning the surge protector on.

I had high hopes for this after using many Belkin surge protectors/power strips. This was for my fancy monitor, which also powers my Macbook Pro when connected by usb c. I like to power everything off at night. Pros Nice looking, great arrangement of outlets, usb ports, high joules for protection Cons With this one, my monitor made a strange clicking noise when turning the surge protector back on, It's never made that sound before using this. I tried switching back to the original power cable, usb c cable, and then finally back to the older Belkin 8 Outlet Conserve Surge Protector, and only then did it stop making the clicking nose when the power was turned back on. I wanted something with a higher joules rating. It's disappointing because it's nice clean looking with my white desk. I've always had good luck with Belkin. Not taking a chance with this. Maybe I got a dud. Will have to return it. Something isn't right.
