Great Value, big sound

For the money these speakers rock, I purchased these on sale and feel like a thief. I installed them on the back patio and have them powered by a Yamaha RX-V995 Receiver I purchased on E-Bay. The sound is very clear and I'm able to crank it up and bother the neighbors. I'm a bass lover and wanted a little more bottom so I added a Polk Atrium Subwoffer, holy cow, I can't leave the patio anymore. I was considering buying two more for the other end of the house where my deck is and run them through the B channel, but I'm getting some pretty good sound without them at this point.

Warning! These are 6 ohm speakers.

Good build quality and the mounts are decent. Beware that these are 6 ohm speakers so it is very hard to make them work properly with you amplifier. Forget trying to hookup 4 of these. Most amplifiers cannot handle that load and will just turn off or overheat. Yamaha doesn't even sell an amp that can properly handle their own speakers. Buy one of their other outdoor speakers that are 4 ohm and it will be much easier and reliable to setup.
