Electric Guitar Silver

I’ve owned and played dozens of guitars and basses over the course of 35 yrs plus, and this Gretsch G5425 has to be one the best I’ve ever played at any price point. I received my guitar factory fresh in the box, took it out, tuned it up and it was ready to go. The fit and finish are perfect and no sharp frets or cheap hardware to be found. Intonation is spot-on up and down the neck. It sounds great clean, with a bluesy overdrive, or full on distortion. The pickups are very well balanced with a selection of beautiful, usable tones to dial in with the 3-way pickup selector and volume/tone knobs. The slightly shorter scale and flatter fretboard radius makes playing a breeze. I highly recommend this guitar for any player, whether a beginner or pro. At this price point, there are few rivals— the Squier Classic Vibe series comes to mind— but beyond that, one would have to spend hundreds more to get the same quality.
