I use this as a radio with an old itouch in my livingroom and it works perfectly, tiny in size and works flawlessly. Can't be beat for the price. perfect if you are within 6 or so feet of it because of it's small speaker size.

Disappointing

Tiny footprint is great. However, sound quality is very disappointing. The lowest volume setting is fairly loud. On one of the two units I bought, the volume down button doesn't work properly. I bought one for each of my pre-teen daughters. One is keeping hers, but the other unit is going back. For the price, I expected more. The Sony clock/ipod charger we bought for about the same price has a much better speaker.
