Perfect case, very safe

I LOVE this case! In the picture, it looks more hot pink, but in reality it is a light, almost salmon pink; this was a little disappointing but not a huge deal. I find that it provides far superior protection to my iPhone than my Otterbox did, and there are less flaps and crevices for dirt to get stuck under, another big problem that I had for my Otterbox. It is less bulky, and i get compliments on the case all the time- my friends take it out of my hands and tell me how cool it looks. I've dropped it several times, and it protects my phone very well, and the built-in screen protector is great. The only thing I don't like about this case - it has a protective piece of plastic that goes around the camera portion, and if my camera flashes, it adds a white blur to the photos because the flash reflects off of the white piece. To combat this, I have to fold the case down entirely off of the camera. Luckily, I don't use the flash much (and it takes normal pictures when the flash is not on), but if your iPhone is your primary source for photos, I wouldn't recommend this case, as it's a minor flaw that could make picture-taking a hassle.

I'll keep looking.

I was initially very happy with my Droptech case, so much so that I bought one for my husband and his partner who were disappointed with the bulk of their Otterbox Defenders. They liked these cases too because they're easier to grip, can slip into a pocket fairly easily (they had to use belt clips with the Defenders), and feel like they can handle constant use and abuse. However, three months later, their cases have broken; the flaps that cover the sound on/off switch tore off on both cases, presumably because of constantly taking the phones out of their pockets. The tab for the cover sticks out very slightly and will catch in a pocket if not pushed in completely. Mines still in great condition, but I don't use my phone as heavily as they do. I like the Droptech case for my situation: light/moderate use and I keep it in my purse rather than a pocket. I like the feel of it, it's grippy but not sticky and I never feel like its going to slip out of my hand, and it's not too bulky. I think it looks kind of cool, too. But if you use your phone constantly, plan on keeping it in your pocket, or don't have the patience to make sure the covers are always pushed in completely, this case may not be for you. I'm going to have to splurge on the Lifeproof cases to see if they're worth it!
