Great headphones for the price - inexpensive but work well.

I have owned many inexpensive sports headphones over the years but these by far are the best. They are so good that I have purchased several extra pair just in case I do something stupid to break them. The headband retains its shape over time unlike the other models that I have owned. Just enough tension to keep them on your head but not enough to give you a headache. With other headbands the tension starts out strong but then loses it's strength over time. Then, if you tilt your head forward they fall off - but not the AS35W.Also the ear bud has a nice design that helps it stay into your ear - but doesn't put any extra pressure into your ear like some specialized ear buds do. The design also helps the headband stay on your head. The bass might not be as good as some people might like but I think that it is very good and it is the best of any inexpensive headphones that I have owned. After all they are sports headphones - I want them to stay on my head while I exercise. If I need more bass then I will get into my car and crank up the stereo. The cord comes in 2 pieces. The one attached to the headphones is approximately 24 inches - ear bud to the plug. This would be more than enough if you are wearing your music device on your armband. The 2nd piece is an extension and is a shorter length - at least another 18 inches. I use the 2 of them together because I wear my radio on my belt and need a little extra length on the cord. The headband folds up nicely and comes with a plastic carrier to hold the ear phones and cords.I think that this is a great product and hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I have.

Powerful Bass means no high frequencies
By Jon Gill on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2013
+ The headphones are light and comfortable+ They stay put when you're moving+ The segmented cords are nice for different devices- The sound is essentially a low-pass filter, allowing for low frequencies to come thru loud and higher frequencies are attenuated.Overall: Good for running, jogging, and walking. Not good for trying to hear well balanced sound.
