Power for Cheap amp
By IQ on Reviewed in the United States on June 7, 2012
This amp produce a lot of power as long as your subs are wired correctly. You need to have your subs at 2ohms for each channel or 4 ohms bridged. I am running 2 800 watts a piece subs at 4ohms per chennel and it sounds like it will blow my back windows in my chevy tahoe! Amp doesn't run hot but I took 2 inch metal blocks and raised it up so air can flow. It has 2 vents on the bottom, trust me since I raised the amp 2 inches up from my sub box it is running cool enough to not be on protection mode. I blasted at least 4 hours straight at the bike week at the beach with out any issues! Loving it so far. I probably need to upgrade my subs because they are talking a lot of pounding from this amp. Not sure if it is true 5000 watt amp but I give it at least 1600 to 2000 watts easy. Buy it! you can beat the price and 1 year warranty!

POS!!!
By Michael on Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2012
this amp is the biggest pos i have ever spent money on...i had my subs wired to 8 ohms bridged and my friends 800 alpine mono out pushes ths damn thing...if i wire it to 2 ohms bridged it will blow a fuse cause it gets so hot after about 15 minutes it is supossed to be 4 ohms but my subs are 600 rms 1800 max and wired to 2 ohms and the amp claims 4000 to 4 ohms plus efficiency and all i think i would smell a coil warm up once and a while....gonna go on craigslist in a day or 2 and then going with a fosgate or alpine thats the only way to go
