Great product, Great customer service

First, the reason I almost gave this four stars instead of five - Bluetooth latency. I am a musician, and bought this product so I could stream the monitor signal from my PA system mixer to my Motorola SD10-HD Bluetooth headphones. The product works as advertised, however there is a noticeable delay from when I play a guitar chord or sing a note into my mixer and hear it in the headphones after the Bluetooth transmission - making the product unusable for this purpose. I had hoped to avoid a $400 pro in ear wireless monitor using these two products, but the latency killed the idea. There are many reasons I gave the product five stars nonetheless: 1. Expectations - The product is not advertised as a transmitter for in ear monitor systems, and therefore one should have no expectation that they will meet this need (I was merely hopeful). I believe I was expecting too much from two consumer audio products, and can't really hold it against them - so I decided to try it for other uses like music listening and watching TV. 2. Sound Quality - I use this plugged into the 1/8 inch jack of my iPhone, iPad, and Home theater system (with a 1/4 inch adapter,) and in all cases the sound quality is very good for a non-wired connection. There are rarely any drops in transmission, and I can now listen at any volume I want. There is a slight delay for watching TV so the lips are not in sync, but many home theater systems and TV's can accommodate for this in settings. Even if not, for watching TV the delay is barely noticeable. 3. Range - Bluetooth is only good from about 30 feet, and not through walls, but I was really surprised to find I can walk all around my first floor, through walls, etc, and still get a good signal - except for two rooms over all the way on the other side of the house. Outstanding. 4. Customer service - This is the thing that really gets them five stars. I could not get the minijack to sync to my Motorola headphones, and after many tries I emailed BlueBridge tech support from their web site (miccus.com). They emailed me several suggestions within the hour, but none worked. I emailed them back telling them the situation, and within an hour they told me they were sending me a new minijack and an envelope to send the old one back - I didn't even ask them to do this; they simply offered it up. The new one came in a few days, and again I could not sync. Support told me they had several of the motorolas to test with and ran a test again for me. It turns out the problems was with the Motorolas - not the minijack. I had not been holding in the button long enough for it to sync with the minijack. Once I did that, everything has been great ever since. I was leery of buying the minijack, because it was cheap and I had never heard of Miccus corp before, but went ahead anyway and am really glad I did. I will definitely be checking their site for other products, and would recommend this company to anyone. I am a real person, as you can tell on amazon by checking my other reviews, and am not endorsed by this company or any other - I just think when a company provides great service like this in today's world of customer service crap and failure, they deserve a pat on the back. I hope this helps. Mike

I bought the receiver transmitter pair a while back. And recently, I have the need to use them at work. After using them for a week, here is my review of these two item. Transmitter: Pros: easy to use, once you read the manual. single button operation can be difficult sometimes. There is the 3/5/7 seconds waiting period for turn on/turn off/pairing function. Everything you expect a bluetooth transmitter to do, it does. the auto-pairing works very well with another bluebridge receiver. Cons: The audio quality ranges from good to poor. I would not say it is excellent or very good. Here is why. 1) there is fading in and out when the audio volume is below certain level. That gets annoying when some songs can be faint at times. 2) when the transmitter is plugged into the USB port, it can hiss at times. Not sure why. The receiver works very well, with the bluebridge transmitter or with my phone. No complaints there. Battery is about 8 hours as advertised. Hope this helps.
