3-Way Indoor/Outdoor Wall Mount Speaker System

When I purchased these speakers they had not been reviewed. I wanted some loud, somewhat inexpensive speakers to mount on my deck. I had purchased a set of Pyle car speakers at one time that were decent, so I figured these would be decent. This is incorrect. Out of the box one of the mounts would not fit flush against the speaker, so it would face down at an undesirable angle. In theory, the large speaker should put out some kind of bass or mid-range. It does not. There is basically no bass in these speakers. They sound like high frequency speakers only. There is almost no mid-range either. I was using them to replace a set of $15-for-the-pair insignia speakers that the grill had rusted on. Honestly, the $7.50 a piece insignia speakers sound much better. These speakers might be worth their price if they cost about $30 for the pair, as they do handle higher wattage...but you would need a sub woofer to balance it out. Save up a few more dollars and get a set of Yamaha's, they are vastly superior.
