Blue Juice Valve Oil

Blue juice is the oil I use on most of my trumpets. It just works. I used to be able to buy it in 8oz bottles and refill my smaller bottles (as I have multiple trumpets and cases) but for some reason the larger bottles became unavailable. But priced at around $4 for a 2 oz bottle, or $256 per gallon! I'm sure that it's a more refined product than gasoline, but it smells a lot like the stuff. I used to buy 8 or 16 oz bottles of the stuff for a fraction of the price, but again, for whatever reason, it's no longer available. One thing about this valve oil in its favor is that I've found that I have to use it less often than when I use a mineral oil-based valve oil like Al Cass. Unlike other valve oils that gum up if you mix different valve oils, Blue Juice seems to be able to be used in most circumstances. The stuff stinks, but if you want valves that just work, especially if you're lazy about oiling your horn, this is the stuff to buy.
