Verbatim CD-R 700MB 80 Minute 52x Recordable Disc

A little more expensive than I would expect given that hard copies of media aren't used with same frequency that they were, back in the day. I admit I am not a tech person so this may be a ME problem and/or because my iMac is old but my music program is up to date and computer still has plenty of memory; that being said I ended up having to throw away 6 discs because of a “recording medium error”. Burning on these discs worked fine until I started pre labeling the tops of some (non shiny side in case u think Im totally oblivious) with permanent marker (6 to be precise). And yes, I gave them plenty of dry time before inserting. My mac would begin the burn process then stop part way thru to give the afore mentioned error. It’s been a long a$$ time since I bothered burning a disc but pretty certain pre-labeling before was not an issue. Oh well live n learn I guess. Playback quality on the successfully burned discs is good.
