- 3200 ANSI Lumens

- TI BrilliantColor 0.55" Panel
- XGA (1024 x 768) Native Resolution
The PJD6240 makes beautiful, vivid 720p and 1080i high definition images thanks to its Texas Instruments DLP DMD (Digital Light Processor Digital Micromirror Device) imaging panel (that's the part that creates the image). It has an innovation TI calls BrilliantColor. Besides presenting crisp, vivid images, a marked advantage of DLP DMD devices is that they don't require filters that have to be periodically cleaned and replaced. That saves you time, money and in a permanent installation, possibly skinned knuckles.
The PJD6240 has the international credentials you've come to expect in more expensive projectors. It's got a world-ready 100 to 240 volt 50/60 Hz power supply. It can handle NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, B, D, G, H, I, M, N, 60 and SECAM video signals. It has an 11 language onscreen display (OSD) and can display closed captioning from sources that provide CC.
There's a built-in RJ-45 (Ethernet) jack so your PJD6240 is network ready. You can monitor and manage a whole fleet of them from a single PC over your LAN. You can even have them email you when certain faults are discovered and thank to the PJD6240's built-in clock you can even schedule commands to take place when the controlling PC is off.
3200 ANSI Lumens And a 2000:1 Contrast Ratio
The PJD6240 packs 3200 ANSI lumens in just 6.7 lb (3.0 kg), and with a high 2000:1 contrast ratio your presentations are guaranteed to be vibrant even in the brightest home or office environment. The high brightness and contrast ratios, combined with keystone correction and zoom lens ensure this projector delivers your presentations and high definition programming perfectly.
Texas Instruments DLP Image Panel With BrilliantColor
TI's patented DLP imager features an innovation it calls BrilliantColor. Unlike other technologies such as LCD that use just three primary colors to produce the image, DLP Technology with BrilliantColor uses up to six separate colors. Color accuracy is paramount to a quality image. BrilliantColor not only improves color accuracy, it brightens secondary colors as well. This combination produces a new level of color performance that increases the brightness of the colors by up to 50% over DLP projectors without BrilliantColor for accurate, true-to-life images.
World Ready
The PJD6240 has a 100 V AC – 240 V AC 50/60 Hz power supply and its onscreen display offers your choice of 11 languages. It also supports the international video signal formats NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL (B, D, G, H, I, M, N, 60) and SECAM.
Network Ready With an RJ45 Jack
Remotely schedule, manage and monitor the projector and its lamp status. Use the unique integrated clock to perform commands even when the host PC is powered down.
Multiple Video Formats Supported
The PJD6240 supports SDTV (480i, 576i), EDTV (480p, 576p) and HDTV (720p, 1080i) formats. It's also PC compatible from VGA (640 x 480) through its native resolution XGA (1024 x 768), to SXGA (1280 x 1024). It can output to the Macintosh at XGA.
Eco-mode Extends Lamp Life While it Lowers Costs
The lamp in this projector is rated at a respectable 3500 hours in Normal mode. Darken the room a little and switch to Eco mode and lamp life shoots up to 4000 hours. At the same time fan noise drops too. In Standby mode the projector draws less than nine watts.
Closed Captioning
This projector can display Closed Captioning from program sources that provide CC. That's good not only for your hard of hearing audience members but for anyone learning English as a second language or when you have to present in a noisy environment.
