Rodney Hampton was a running back for the New York Giants selected in the 1st round 24th overall during the 1990 NFL Draft. After Hampton was hurt during his rookie season he recorded 5 straight 1000 yard rushing seasons from 1991-95 recorded 49 TDs over his 8 year career and was the Giants all time leading rusher with 6897 yards until Tiki Barber surpassed him during the 2004 season.
