The brushed metal design looks good and feels good
The HTC One (M8) is a thing of beauty. It's got a clear 5 inch 1080 SLCD touchscreen, with a curved, thin frame, made mainly from aluminium, for a cool, sleek look and a comfortable feel. The curves and lines fit perfectly in the palm of your hand, so you'll never want to put it down. And using voice command, you can interact with your phone without even pressing a button. Add the unique HTC Dot View, for a case that looks great and protects your phone, but doesn't get in the way. You can see who's calling, and answer or decline without even opening it. There's also a slot for a microSD expandable memory card, so you can store even more photos, videos and music.
Stay focused with UFocus
Bring blurry objects into focus, before or after you take your shot. So you can blur out the background and focus on your friends faces. Or vice versa. You can even go back through your gallery, and refocus your photos. Still not happy with your pictures? Use Duo Camera and Duo Effects to make them stand out even more. You can even add an artistic touch with the Foregrounder and Seasons features, and change the angle of your pictures using Dimension Plus. And to make sure you capture everyone and everything in the room, you can take 360 degree panoramic pictures. Even when you're happy with your pictures, the clever features don't stop there. If you ever want to find pictures of a certain person, or even an object, you can use Image match to quickly browse your gallery and pick them out.
Crank up the volume with dual front facing stereo speakers
The sound on the new HTC One (M8) is bigger and better - 25% louder than its predecessor, without affecting the quality. The speakers are at the front of the phone, so the sound comes at you, not away from you. Thanks to HTC BoomSound, your music is automatically adjusted with the built in amps and bass to treble balancing software, to give you powerful, clear sound, with hardly any distortion.
Stay in the loop with HTC BlinkFeed
The HTC One (M8) keeps you up to date with the things that matter most to you, without you lifting a finger. With HTC BlinkFeed you can personalise your live feeds, to get the latest posts, blogs, scores and stories, all continuously updating on your home screen, so you'll always be first with the news.
Find your way around with the simple Android and HTC Sense 6 interface
It may be crammed with clever new features, but thanks to the Android operating system and HTC Sense 6 interface, you don't need to be a genius to work the HTC One (M8). You can wake it up with a couple of taps, and lift it to your ear to answer a call, without needing to press a button. Swipe left to quickly get to your apps, even when it's asleep, and use voice control to dial your contacts. Easy.
The Snapdragon 801 processor makes everything faster
Browse the web, play your favourite games, flick between apps and multitask till your hearts content, all in an instant, thanks to the power of the HTC One (M8)'s Snapdragon processor. And don't worry too much about it draining your battery. Simply switch on the extreme power saving mode, to keep your phone going for longer.
