The Bluetech AV-1000 Battery Charger is for AA and AAA Batteries. Its super secure battery compartments can hold up to 4 batteries at a time. Both AA and AAA batteries can be charged together. The charger is intended to charge and discharge NiCd or NiMH rechargeable batteries. Each compartment has a display screen to show charging current, battery voltage, charged capacity, and used charging time. The charging current can be selected from 200mA, 500mA, 700mA, and 1000mA. The charger has a discharge, refresh, or test mode as well. Each battery can be set to its own mode. Once a battery is fully charged, the charger will switch to trickle charging automatically to keep the battery at its optimum capacity. The charger also includes an innovative overheat protection to protect the rechargeable batteries and the charger from overheating. Only use the power adapter that comes with the unit.
