Walkera has develped their first multi-rotor with GPS module -- the QR-X350. The beautiful white body looks very similar to the DJI Phantom but it's from the Walkera Factory. It is not a very big quad, but it flies stably like bigger ones. So that is another ready to fly GPS Quadcopter set to choose from! No complicated setup, just do some simple installation of propellers and legs, prepare batteries for controller, it's ready!

The soul of the QR X350 is the GPS module, and realize hover function once the model takes off. The module also allows the quad to make a relative hover and lock the correct altitude. Which means you can fly to certain height, lock it, then the quad always fly at the same height.

With the GPS technology, the multi-rotor can go to the home point by pressing just one key on the transmitter. This function also enables the quad to "Go home" when it loses connection with the controller! (But make sure that the quad have enough battery to fly back)

To let the quadcopter fly smoothly with GPS works in good condition, you need to calibrate the quad before flying. For the calibrating method, please see the video below.
