Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

I have a weakness for Reuben's and Cheesesteak.

Ah, the hell with it.

The best sandwich ever was roast beef on rye with mayo from Hy Sofer's Deli in Schenectady. We shall never see its like again, sigh.

There should have been another possible answer: grilled cheese BLT.

Either a hot ham & cheese, OR a BACON Cheeseburger with Bar-B-Q sauce on it! (crumble up the bacon so it doesn't all slide out on the first bite)

Cuban. Sort of a grilled cheese but with ham and pork and pickles and mayo and mustard... trust me, it's delicious.

Thanks to up-to-the-minute tracking, I don't track my package so much as stalk it.

Liverwurst and cheddar on rye.

Although that roast beef on rye with mayo sounds pretty good too.

That liverwurst does sound good! Love poor man's pate.

Why are there so many polls? Every day, in every category! I hardly have time for my self flagellation anymore. Hey, how about a poll on self flagellation? Old School baby! I mean in the sense of the Spanish Inquisition.

Sonny, true love is the greatest thing, in the world-except for a nice MLT – mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe. They're so perky, I love that.

There's a bakery near me that makes INSANE Pastrami sandwiches. I think that's my favorite of the sandwiches I can buy.

Peanut Butter and Pickle (Klaussens kosher sandwich slices are the best) is my go to sandwich with no prep. I can eat them daily.

Those are great, but it's hard to find the real thing outside La. I was looking at restaurants near an event I was thinking of attending in PA, and a so-called "N'awlins Style" place, among the rest of the non-authentic offerings had a "muffaletta" without olives! It was also a panini, but I'll give them a pass on that since that actually sounds kinda good.

Grilled ham and cheese, the best of both! Grilled cheese and bacon is great, too. For breakfast, taylor ham, egg and cheese on a soft bagel!

BLT, best with summer tomatoes. I buy vineripe tomatoes now and if I have no bacon or too lazy to cook, real bacon bits work.
Homemade Reubens, had one today.
Salami, pepperoni and provolone cheese. Ok now I need to go make a sandwich.

Grilled cheese with thinly sliced tomatoes or pickles inside. Even a PB&J is better grilled.
