Headphones & Earbuds

If Tech.Woot was a bar, earbuds would be that patron slumped in the corner, nursing a Rolling Rock and mumbling about alimony payments. He's there so often that nobody really notices him anymore, until one day he just stops showing up...

Found the Red earbuds over at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/iLuv-iEP414RED-FitAcctive-Fidelity-Earphones/dp/B007G95QBQ/

Summary of reviews: break soon after purchasing (1wk-1mo) Save your box!, don't stay in ear well for some, mixed reviews on sound quality.

Another note, there is a similar model that includes mic/smart phone controls: http://www.amazon.com/iLuv-iEP416RED-FitActive-Earphones-Smartphones/dp/B00703BGR6/
The reviews there have similar tones.

Yeah, I hate the couple of pairs I bought here. They're junk, and so is the sound quality, but if you're listening to spoken word (audiobooks) rather than music and don't really care how it sounds, it's alright.

Pertaining to the Klipsch bluetooth headphones. I am a little perplexed at 'Woot Math". How is $99 60% off of $249? It's actually 60.2409638554216867. If you guys want to throw away .2409638554216867 percent, then throw it at me. Thank you.

Burn in whatever headphones/earbuds you get on the JLabs website before you expect them at their best. http://www.jlabaudio.com/index/burn-in

If you're a super picky audiophile, you aren't looking at sale pages for earbuds. Otherwise, the Jlab earbuds are great. Better than Beats earbuds (which I also have) for sure.

Are the Kilpsch Image One bluetooth the Gen 1 or Gen 2 versions?

I have the Gen 2 and wouldn't mind picking up another pair.

I've had a pair of Sennheiser HDR 120s for many years now. I adore them. They're not audiophile-level, but Sennheiser never disappoints.

Also, thank you to Woot for reminding me I had these. I'm gonna take these to work on Monday. I work in IT, so I can use them around the office whether I'm at my desk or in the back area working on PCs.

I also like that I can just drape them across my neck and use them as wireless speakers - you obviously lose a lot of sound quality with them that far from your ears, but it still works.
