I want to jump on this bad boy but internet info is scarce. I can't find any reviews. A similarly stocked machine is $750 at Dell. This is new for $550 online but no user reviews or feedback. Kinda worries me. Anyone got any good juice on it?

Nothing remarkable here about the specs or price, so I won't.

This is an OK comp, but I bought the quad core version of this 3 months ago for $399.99 and it was brand new. For a cheap laptop it's awesome really. Wife loves it for watching movies and web pages are large and clear. I get 2 - 2.25 hrs of steady video watching on a single battery charge and battery fully recharges from 5% to 100% in 1.25 hrs. It is large so a bit ungainly to handle and carry but that's the price you pay for the big screen. Windows 8 runs well but I had to do a lot of bloatware cleanup. Sound for a laptop is quite good, and HDMI out is stellar on the 60" Plasma with full surround sound support. Off axis viewing angles are weak, but not unexpected in this price range. IPS monitors in laptops are quite a bit better but this unit was released over 2 years ago. Web cam is just OK. Touch pad is also just so so but totally useable. I didn't buy it for high performance processing or gaming so I was quite OK with an AMD based machine. I am satisfied with my purchase. Also note that this is a discontinued model.
