  • 3.5% - Ummm…one of the other ones? (Comments) 80

Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Google Goggles is an app.
Isn't it "project glass" or something?

For "project glass" to be useful to me it would have to 1)support prescription lenses and 2)be fully waterproof down to at least 6 feet indefinitely.

Did you misspell "tolerate" as "interested in"?

Did you mean to say "... would you be mocked in" instead of "interested in"?

That's all I got.

I haven't heard of anyone working on the tech, but I would go for an e-reader that I could wear. I love gadgets and own a number of them, but my favorite by far is my Kindle Paperwhite. It would be nice if I had something like a flexible e-reader screen that I could roll into a necklace or some other wearable item.

Typing this from a waterproof computer, I assume.

I was interested in the Sony LiveView and tried it. It works ok but definitely worth the $20 I spent!

I don't think I want Google responsible for what I get to see... "Oh, that city didn't pay its fee to be listed at the top of the search, let's replace it with a map of one of our Prefered cities!" or having my eye report back to Google everything I see in order for them to market to me more effectively.

Ugh, why would you want to wear all that? There's nothing like getting away from technology for a while and getting outside. It's a beautiful world we live in!

I'd get contacts to be a beta tester. Forget prescription.

I voted for the google goggles but I'd be more interested in the contact lenses augmented reality.

Theres a link to a explanation of it.

Got my grey Pebble coming soon too. I also think I'm going to get Project Glass when it comes out later this year. I figure I'll be a 50% human-cyborg by 2020.

Nope, but then I don't take my computer with me everywhere...and most of the interesting things I would want to photograph or record happen when I'm in (or near) my kayak.

I haven't seen these for sale yet but the technology exists. A garment that generates electricity from your body heat, so you can keep your portable gadgets charged.
